CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewelry, here are some care tips specifically adapted to the materials used in my handcrafted pieces.

1. 925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver may naturally tarnish (develop a slight darkening) when exposed to air, humidity, or certain products.

How to clean silver: use a silver polishing cloth (soft polishing cloth suitable for jewelry)

For a more thorough clean : use a silver cleaning bath, without immersing any gemstones or leather components. Gently wipe the jewelry after each use.

How to prevent tarnishing: store your jewelry in a a sealed jewelry pouch or a jewelry box. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and hand sanitizer.

2. Genuine Leather
Leather is a natural material that evolves and develops a beautiful patina over time. It requires a little care to maintain its appearance. Avoid :
– water
– perfume and scented products
– creams, oils, and other skincare products
– prolonged exposure to direct sunlight

Care tips : clean with a soft, dry cloth. If the leather appears dry, a small amount of leather care cream may be applied (optional and to be used with caution). Avoid excessive folding or twisting, as this may leave permanent marks.

3. Natural Gemstones (Semi-Precious and Precious Stones)
Each gemstone is unique and requires special care. To preserve its beauty :
– Avoid drops and strong impacts
– Avoid contact with perfumes, chemicals, and harsh cleaning agents
– Gently clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth
– Allow the jewelry to dry completely before storing it

Please note: some gemstones are sensitive to heat or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight (e.g., amethyst and rose quartz).

4. Magnets (Magnetic Clasps and Closures)
Magnetic clasps are convenient and secure, but they require a little extra care.

Usage tips: gently bring the magnets together to avoid sudden impacts. Avoid contact with :
– salt water
– harsh chemicals
– rough or abrasive metal objects

Care: gently wipe with a dry cloth after use. Check the clasp from time to time to ensure it is clean and free from dust or small particles.

5. General Care Guidelines for All Jewelry Pieces
To greatly extend the longevity of your jewelry :
– Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping
– Avoid prolonged exposure to water, moisture, and cosmetics
– Avoid pulling or putting unnecessary strain on handcrafted jewelry pieces
Store in a individual jewelry pouch away from direct light and air exposure.

6. Storage Tips
To help prevent silver tarnishing and protect the leather :
– Store each jewelry piece separately
– Avoid storing jewelry in humid bathrooms
– Use a soft fabric pouch or an anti-tarnish jewelry box
